The Colet Boat Club provides a focal point for those who have rowed at school (or for Old Paulines who have taken up rowing after leaving) to meet each other socially and actively.
The main rowing event in which the Club participates is the Old Boys Regatta, usually held early in September. Westminster and Canterbury join us and it is hoped that Eton, Radley etc will join.
Any members who wish to be more active than this can, however, borrow boats and oars from the school and can enter for events at regattas. Regatta Fees and other incidental expenses are, of course, their responsibility. They should consult with Dr A J Mayfield at the School (020 8748 9162).
On the more social side the Club has its annual general meeting and annual dinner on an evening normally two weeks or so before Christmas. This is well attended and provides a pleasant opportunity for a span of generations to meet each other again and to make contact with the new members from School crews of the previous season.
