New issue of RFU Debenture Seats at Twickenham

A great opportunity has just come up to buy excellent RFU Debenture Seats at Twickenham.  The offer is open to members of RFU affiliated clubs (of which the Old Pauline FC is one).  If you nominate the Old Pauline Football Club (OPFC) as your rugby Club (and Membership is open to all former pupils of St Paul's) you will not only be ensuring your place at Twickenham for the next 10 years but you will also be helping the OPFC to a commission on your purchase.

Life memberships are also available at £350 (non-players) and £450 (players).

Details of the RFU's offer are:-
The RFU has announced the issue of 1,000 personal debentures, on a first come, first served basis, which come into effect on 1 September 2008 and entitle holders to ticketing rights for all RFU matches at Twickenham (including 6 Nations) for ten years.

The basis of offer is as folllows:
. Each debenture costs £6,750 payable in full on application which is structured as a 75 year loan repayable in full in 2083 at 0% interest. There is a limit of four per person. These are not available for businesses and applications should be accompanied by a personal cheque. There are still some business debentures available in the South stand.
. Each debenture entitles you to 10 years ticketing rights from 1 September 2008 for one ticket for each debenture at cost price for the ticket (£75 for each of this season's 6 Nations matches, for example). This applies for all matches under the auspices of the RFU.
. You will need to maintain a membership of a club affiliated to the RFU during the ticketing period.
. You will be allocated the same seat(s) for each match. The majority are positioned in the East and West Lower and Middle stands between the 22-metre line and the goal line but there are some more centrally positioned in the East and West Upper stands. Seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis but you can request a preference for which stand or tier you would like
. Fuller details and a downloadable application form can be obtained at www.rfu.com/personaldebentures . Each form will need countersignature by OPFC chairman, John Howard, to testify that the applicant is a fully paid up member of OPFC.
Please send a completed Debenture application form with your cheque payable to the Rugby Football Union for the appropriate amount to John Howard (OPFC Chairman) who will then lodge them directly with the RFU debenture office.  Please let John know by email (chairman@opfc.org.uk ) that you are intending to apply and he will forward his address to you. It would be sensible to apply as soon as possible.
